Rev Dr. Gayle Landis holds a B.S. in Education from Ashland University, Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology, and Doctor of Ministry from Perkins School of Theology.

Currently retired, she has served as Interim Pastor of New World UMC, Garland, TX., Sr. Pastor of Whaley UMC Gainesville, TX., Executive Pastor of University Park UMC Dallas, TX., Sr. Pastor Lakewood UMC, Dallas, TX., Sr. Pastor of First UMC Van Alstyne, TX., Sr. Pastor of St. Stephen UMC, Mesquite, TX., Interim Pastor of Oak Lawn UMC, Dallas, TX., Etc.

She enjoys reading stacks of old books, swimming, going to the theater, going to the beach and puttering in the yard. Gayle and her husband Dave live in Plano, Texas. They have three children and two grandchildren.
